Shreveport police are seeking tips about the identity of people who broke into a store in the 7700 block of Linwood Avenue and took clothing and other items. Police responded to one burglary call at 3 a.m. May 13 at the Candi Shoppe. They discovered someone broke into the business and took items left for sale. Police responded to another burglary call at the business at 11:30 p.m. June 23. They reviewed surveillance video that show a man with a white T-shirt wrapped around his face taking items from the store. Investigators say there have been other burglaries and attempted burglaries at the Candi Shoppe as recently as last week. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.

Bossier City police have arrested a man in connection with the armed robbery of a Circle K store in the 1200 block of Old Minden Road Tuesday. Jonathan R. Frye, 22, of Bossier City turned himself in to detectives Thursday to face an armed robbery charge. Detectives developed Frye as a suspect after receiving Bossier Crime Stoppers tips based on surveillance video of the robbery aired by television news broadcasts. Frye is charged with armed robbery. His bond was set at $100,000.

The family of a missing Haughton man is offering a $2,500 reward for the recovery of his remains. Clinton Devon Nelson would be 23 on Aug. 9 and was last seen Friday, Sept. 1, 2006. He had left a friend's house near Ward Lane and U.S. 80 in Princeton about 8:30 p.m. The reward is not tied to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his disappearance. The reward can be paid out anonymously as soon as Nelson's verified remains are recovered. A separate $12,500 reward, which requires arrest and conviction, is being offered by Nelson's mother's employers, along with Texas EquuSearch, a mounted horse patrol group. Nelson is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 160 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt, a black knit cap and red-and-white tennis shoes. He has blond hair, blue eyes and a fresh scar near his right collarbone. He wears round-frame glasses.
