Four people, including two juveniles, were arrested this morning on charges they burglarized several vehicles in the Southview Estates Trailer Park. A deputy spotted the four leaving the neighborhood about 1:40 a.m. after area residents alerted her that the group was seen entering several vehicles. They dropped several items, including a pistol, when the deputy confronted them, said Cindy Chadwick, sheriff's spokeswoman. Daniel A. House, 25, of Keithville, and Chase Allen Peterson, 17, of Shreveport were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on three counts of simple burglary and one count each of theft of a firearm and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, Chadwick said. The juveniles were booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.

One eastbound lane on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, state Highway 526, at the Interstate 49 interchange in Caddo Parish is closed until noon today for bridge work, according to officials with Louisiana Department of Transportation. This work is necessary for engineers to inspect the area that was hit by the windmill tower on Monday.
