Shreveport Times Registration is underway for the second annual softball tournament benefiting Sheriff's Safety Town.
The tournament is set for July 26-27 at Cargill Park in Shreveport and will include a co-ed competition and home run derby with door prizes, said Cindy Chadwick, spokeswoman for Caddo sheriff's office. All teams will play by ASA rules.
The entry fee is $175 per team. First place and second place medals will be awarded. A Most Valuable Player will be selected from the co-ed team.
